Nowadays, I think that our senses may be changing with Augmented Reality (AR) to Replaced Reality (RR), because many of we already have been ready to use devices for it. AR may provide our view adding 3DCG items to a real world. While, RR may provide our view replacing anything in a real world, to 3DCG item.

Well, I suggest and hope to enjoy that any combination of AR and RR offers great interest to us, near future. For example, real world overlaid by a game world, new products or the other nature world, etc. Further more, I think any combination of AR marker and code tag is important for calibration between virtual world and real world, and selection of the virtual world overlaid by it. For my image, the virtual world synchronizes with real world from the moment when I read a marker (with posters) put on the wall with a device (a terminal) .
So, I feel good that iPhone and Win 7 sensor APIs become more popular.
